Lots of funny, fond childhood memories of Mrs. Riley...her big Sunday pot roasts and mashed potatoes. She had a lot of patience and was always nice to Diane's friends and didn't get mad at me when I hung up on one of her friends who called looking for pony...I didn't know that was her nickname. You are all in my thoughts.

So sorry for the loss. A nice woman indeed. My mother would visit with Joan weekly and talk. They would also meet at the church to help with dinners and functions. We lived down the street and when her well would be out of water on a hot summer day she would carry a bucket to our house to get it filled. She was a very caring person to her family and friends. Again, Sorry for your loss. Al Whittier

Oh, the wonderful memories I have of all of the Rileys coming to visit us at Big Island Pond! So many children to play with! Your mom was one of my mother's dearest childhood friends. I remember her hair pulled back in a ponytail, always smiling and laughing! I hope the amazing family memories you all share will help you through this difficult time.
with deepest sympathy,
Chris
