I am very sorry to learn of Bill's death and for your loss. I did not know Bill but do know one of his wonderful granddaughters, Jasmine, who is shining a bright light at the University of New Hampshire. May Bill's love and nurture, wisdom and vision, faith and hope shine in all of his friends and family. We are all blessed by the wonderfully good life that he lived.

Not, how did he die, but how did he live?
Not, what did he gain , but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man , regardless of birth.
Not what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away?

I want to send my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Billy Bickford. It's been sometime since I have seen or talked with Billy now but the days I did know him from my earlier years of life certainly left a mark in my life. Billy was always a gentle soul and a quality person. People always say that the eyes are the gateway to one's soul and they tell what type of person someone is. Well Billy's eyes definitely told the story about what a kind-hearted, caring, Godly man he was. Although I mourn his loss, I rejoice in his eternal salvation and that he is now with Jesus in Heaven. I guess we're all just jealous that we didn't get to spend more time with Billy because he was such a great guy and that God now gets to enjoy the pleasure of his company for all time. You will be missed Billy! We will see you again soon. Love...

Your Friend & Brother in the Lord,

Steven J. Baldassari

My Mamma. Now you too are in heaven with Jesus. May you and Billy take care of one another in the presence of the Lord until we all meet again in the clouds some day. The pain I feel and I am sure Billy's family feel for their loss will never heal, but knowing there is a wonderful savior who is taking care of you both in paradise gives us all hope and a heart filled with love. I could write all day to express how much I love you both and how sad it is that you have left us but for now I depart until we meet again... Love and more Love.... Steve Baldassari

Billy, lets start from the beginning... You met a girl named Yvette... Yes, she drank beer, she laughed at your jokes, she wrote you letters while you were in the Navy and she waited for you to come home.. Down on bended knee you asked her to marry you. I knew from the beginning that my best friend found her best friend. Billy, you were by her side from day one. I can not even believe you are gone. My heart hurts so much for she will be broken for awhile.. Billy, rest in peace knowing that I will do my best to be bye her side during this coming week and for years to come. Although I can not come near the void she will have in her life but will make sure she feels your love every day forthcoming.. Your children will miss their dad with a sorrow that is like no other. David will miss his best friend. Your dad will miss his best friend. And your sisters will miss their big brother... Billy, may you rest gently my friend.. Thank you for letting me be a part of your life... Till we meet again...
