Robert William Medina Sr., age 83, passed peacefully at home on September 25, 2016.

He was born in Lowell, MA on May 27th, 1933, the son of the late Frank David Medina and Mary Medina.

Bob graduated from Lowell Trade School and studied at UMass Lowell. He served in the US Airforce and was stationed in Okinawa during the Korean War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was employed for 40 years with Raytheon Missile Defense Systems as a Drafting and Tool Design Engineer. He was also a member and 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.

Robert was predeceased by wife of 57 years Elaine (Assad) Medina. He is survived by his children Kenneth Medina and companion Maria Cayer of Methuen, Judith Rokicki of Haverhill, Robert Medina Jr and wife Donna of Derry. NH, Paula Boisvert and husband Ronald of Weare, NH. His Grandchildren Evan and Rachael Medina and mother Nan, Lisa Medina, Michael, Mark and Matthew Qualter, Geoffrey and Jonathan Medina, Natalie and Erika Boisvert and 17 Great-Grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his beloved brothers Francis 'sonny', Ernest, Dennis and Ralph and his sisters Marilyn Miguel, and Mary Barreiro as well as his Aunt Esther, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his sister Elaine Davis and brother John.

Bob loved playing his guitar and singing. He enjoyed golf, fishing, billiards, playing cards and board games. He loved being retired, his Florida home and dear friends there. With his good sense of humor and easy going nature, he will be missed, remembered and loved dearly by all those that knew him.
