Raymond J. Coulter, 89, of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday May 14, 2016 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.
Mr. Coulter was born in Methuen and was educated in Methuen and Haverhill schools. He moved to Salem, NH in 1961. Ray worked as a toolmaker for over 43 years at Pope Machinery Corp. of Haverhill and retired in 1989.
The widower of Ethel M. (Jones) Coulter, his family members include his nieces, Paula and her husband, David Thompson of Methuen and Pamela Vogel Fraser of Exeter, NH. He also leaves his nephew, Herbert and his wife, Fiona Vogel of Methuen as well as several great nieces and great nephews. Ray also leaves his dear friend, Maggie Wright of Salem, NH and her family who took wonderful care of Ray. He was predeceased by his niece, Beverly Vogel Brown wife of Richard Brown.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday May 18, 2016 from 4pm to 7pm at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. Family and friends are invited to graveside services on Thursday May 19 at 1:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
