Philip A. Brenner, 39, died suddenly on June 27, 2016.

He was born in Gloucester on October 1, 1976.

Philip had several jobs throughout his lifetime including the Building Center in Essex and Moynihan Lumber.

He was smart, funny and quick-witted. Phil was an avid reader and loved watching Jeopardy and basketball.

He was predeceased by his mother, Jacqueline Ann Brenner and father, Philip A. Pratt and three sisters, Deborah Pierce, Terry Reed and Linda Grace.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauralie Johnson; her mother, Ingrid and grandparents, Debbie and Dale Johnson; three sisters, Christina Lattanzi, and her husband, Michael of Gloucester, Gail T. Nastasia of North Andover and Jessica Pratt; two brothers, Michael and Mark Pratt, several nieces and nephews, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Gloucester, 38 Gloucester Avenue, from 3 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Philip's name to his daughter, Lauralie Johnson, c/o Gail Nastasia, 28 Bay State Rd., N.
