Micheline Michaud-Schevis, 62, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Thursday, January 7, 2016.
Born March 13, 1953 in New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of the late Alphee H. Michaud and Anna Bois-Michaud of New Brunswick, Canada, Micheline was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Paul Schevis Jr. of Danvers, MA and her granddaughter Chelsea Vilkisus-Grenier of Methuen, MA.
Micheline is survived by her devout sons, Carl and his wife, Sandi Grenier of Salem, NH, Eric Grenier of Raymond, NH, and Jeffrey Beal of Haverhill, MA. She also leaves her grandchildren, Kiel, Ryan, Drew, Joey, Tyler, Gage, Danny, Angelique, Jordan, Corey, Connor; and her loving siblings, Alphena and her husband, Armand Morissette of Oak Lawn, IL, Marielle and her husband, Richard Penney of Nashua, NH, Michael and his wife, Marie-France Michaud of Hudson, NH, Richard Michaud of Boston, MA, Nancy and her husband, Douglas Schapero, of San Juan, PR, and Ann Marie and her husband, Sylvester Sciuto, of Londonderry, NH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
With a Paralegal degree and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Hesser College, she embraced life while serving the community as a certified counselor of domestic violence and court advocacy, as well as a private detective and notary public for the state of New Hampshire. Her pleasures included sewing, gardening and baking pies for friends and loved ones, as well as practicing her skills as a certified cosmetologist. She enjoyed the last eight years as a professional flight attendant for Delta Airlines, traveling domestically and internationally.
Calling hours and a commemorative service will be held in her memory on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA.
