Lionel L. “Leo” Drouin, 90, of Lawrence died on Thursday April 16, 2015 at Lawrence General Hospital. Leo was born in Manchester, NH and was raised in Lawrence. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and was a veteran of WWII and was the recipient of The Purple Heart.  Mr. Drouin worked as a custodian for The Andover School System and also worked at US Bobbin and Shuttle Company and The Oxford Paper Company.  He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church, Methuen where he was a choir member and played violin in the church orchestra.

His family members include his wife, Lucille H. (Dionne) Drouin and his son, Dennis J. and his wife, Catherine Drouin and his daughters, Elaine M. and her husband Mario Benavides, Linda J. And her husband Max Perrine and Denise M.G. and her husband Richard Falzano. Leo also leaves 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, his brother-in-law, Albert Savastano and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sister Pauline Savastano.

There are no calling hours. Private services will be held. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to fellowship Bible Church, 1 Fellowship Way, Methuen, MA. 01844 or to The American Heart Association,20 Speen St., Framingham, MA., 01701.
