Uncle Marty,
You are not only my Uncle, but my best friend. You have always been there for me since I was a kid. I have learned so much about life from you, as you have always guided me in the right direction with every question that I have ever had, and I know there has been a lot of them. You were the most warm hearted person I have ever known, but hard on me when you had to be. We would talk almost everyday, and never did you let me hand up without saying (" love you Derrick"). What I would give to hear you say that to me right now. We built my first Triumph motorcycle together from start to finish, and you would never tell me how to do it because you wanted me to figure out how to do it by myself, unless I was stuck you would jump right in. Just last week we went riding together, and I would glance over at you to see you smiling right back at me. I knew you were so happy we were finally on the road riding together. Every memory in my heart will always stay as clear as it was when it happened no matter how much time passes. I love you Marty, this is not a goodbye but it's I'll see you later.

Marty was a great guy. He helped so many people with his skills and knowledge. He could fix anything and I will never forget him and his sense of humor.
