Sad to hear of Freddys passing. I remember when he moved to the "new" shop, it was a big change. When I happened to be in the Lawrence area I would always stop in to say "Hi". He was just a nice guy.

Dear Joy, Shannon and the Leocata family, It is so difficult to loose someone you love, but I know Freddie is dancing with Irene and having sports conversations with his favorite son-in-law, Stan. Every time my hair dresser shows me the back of my hair in the mirror, it makes me smile because it reminds me of the times I saw Freddie and while he was checking out my hair her would say, "turn around & nice cut." My prayers and love are with you.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Lion Fred but find happiness in the fact that he lead a good and happy life. We thank him for his many years of service to the Lions Club and to his community. NOT ABOVE YOU, NOT BENEATH YOU, BUT WITH YOU. RIP Lion Fred.

Hi Kevin and family,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Fred gave me my first hair cut as a child sometime in 1960 or so! My dad, my brother, the kids I grew up with in Methuen all went to his shop. My son went there as did my nephews. When my father was dying Fred came to our home in Methuen to cut his hair on several occasions. I'll never forget as a child looking through the comic books in his shop while waiting for my turn whether it was with him, Sully or John. I went "baldy" in 2008 so I haven't been in a long time but every time I go through the area I'd always spin by the shop. My best to all of Fred's family, he was a very good man. John Donahue

Very saddened to hear of Fred's passing. He cut my hair and I brought my sons for their first haircut. We'd run from the YMCA and always yell hello to Fred as we passed the shop. It was always an enjoyable time to get a haircut..

I will always think of my Uncle Freddie with a smile on my face and a warm place in my heart. Unfortunately I did not have many moments to see him the last few years. Since the trips he always made to Florida with my Aunt Irene. They always made time to see me and my family. We always enjoyed seeing them both when they would visit. I will never forget spending time at my Uncle's house as a child. They were good memories filled with fun and warmth. Spent with my Uncles, Aunts Cousins, Grandmother and family. Moments and memories that cannot be diminished with time. And I know there were reel to reel tracks that captured those moments. Now DVDs. How time flies! I will miss you Uncle Fred but never forget you!!! Rest in peace till we meet again. Say hello to all my loved ones who have left us upon your reunion with them in peace forever. Your loving Nephew Paul Michael.
