There are so many words to say, and yet they still couldn't sum up the man that Unc was to us. An Uncle but so much more, more like father and a grandfather. From the moment i stepped foot into his home I felt welcomed and more comfortable there than at most of my own families homes. He had a kindness about him that I hadn't seen in many others. Unc will be greatly missed by us all. You never judged or turned away from family when they needed they you Unc and that will be the memory me and my children carry with us of you. I hope you have found the peace you deserve. All our Love, Melissa, Edward and The kids

On behalf of my entire family, our hearts go our to all that knew Ed. He definitely made a positive impact on anyone that knew him. Like all of us old timers from Butler Field on Province Lake, he loved this very special place and he will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Joanne McDonald Reeves

I grew up on Oakland Ave. Ed went to school with my mom. When I would cross paths with him he would always ask me “How you doing and how’s your mother?” Later on I might only bump into him 2-3 times/year but when I did his smile and stories would bring a smile to my face. Your day was always that much better when you bumped into Ed. Scott Heffernan

My mom Dorothy remembers Ed as a gentleman's gentleman. He treated everyone with utmost respect and a smile and laugh. The world lost a gem but heaven shines brighter. We need more Unc's. You are missed and eternally remembered by us and we are blessed to have crossed paths in life.

Although I got to meet Uncle Ed only a few times, they are memorable. I very much enjoyed knowing him, and I can appreciate the loss the family is feeling. My condolences to all.

Sincerely,
Mark Suchon and family
