To all of our friends and family,
Thank you so much for your kind words and sympathy. We have lost a husband, father and grandfather. You have lost a friend. Through this difficult time we have been reminded just what a great man our Dad is. So many people have reached out to us in so many ways, it reminds us of the effect Dad had on others. So again we offer thanks to all of you, for all you have given to Dad in his life and our family in our grief. We are grateful more than words can say.

Rusty, my thoughts are with you during these difficult times. Words cannot express the sadness I feel for losing a good friend. I will always remember the day when I first met Hoss and he said he didn't like my name and from now on it was "Sam" and it's stuck all these years with a select few! Hugx for my mom, while missing the man i called Dad. he taught me to sweat copper pipes, fix fuses and house electrical, command the dogs, change the brakes to my car, always keep a jack, spare tire, and jumper cables in your car. deal with a bully. stand tall, take care of your family, Big Christmas Trees are better, and what it means to be a DAD ! (keep a roll of electrical tape handy) ;- )

My Deepest Sympathy and Condolences to Rusty and "Hoss's" entire family. He will be missed by all. I had the pleasure of knowing Hoss thru my late brother Smitty. I know the two of them are kicking up their heals in heaven. Smitty and Hoss were such good friends and Smitty trusted Hoss implicity as his Foreman.
