Mr. Butryn was born on May 4, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio. Before retirement, Joe worked, for 30 years, as a material handler at Malden Mills, Lawrence. He served with The US Navy aboard The USS Wasp aircraft carrier. He was a member and past commander of VFW Post # 1549 of Lawrence.
