Gary L. Yameen

Gary Laurence Yameen, of Lawrence, passed away in the city of his birth, Lawrence, Massachusetts, at the age of 66, on Saturday,  April 6, 2024.

A graduate of St. Francis School and Central Catholic High School, Gary was a talented auto mechanic who had been known to diagnose car problems over the phone.  He spent many years living on the east coast of Florida and moved back to Lawrence where he provided daily company and support to his parents.  Gary was endlessly helpful, deeply caring, and fearless.  He lived for the day every day.  Gary was known for his wild endeavors and loved his family whole-heartedly.  From an early age, he was fascinated by how things worked and how he could make them work better.  There was little that Gary could not repair, and he was the first to offer help or step up when someone needed help.

Gary is survived by his loving parents, Loretta (Marshall)  and Larry Yameen; brother, Alan and his wife Barbara (Gillespie) Yameen; sister, Deanna Yameen and husband George Curtis, and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

All Services were private and have been already held.
