Lillian P. “Lil” (Sears) Andrews, 92, a longtime resident of Methuen passed away on Thursday January 28, 2016 at The Nevins Nursing Centre, Methuen.   Mrs Andrews was born and raised in Methuen.  She was a graduate of Edward F. Searles High School and the Wilfred Beauty Academy of Boston.  Lil worked for many years as a beautician and also as a sales clerk at Almy’s Department Store, Methuen.  She enjoyed singing and playing the piano and especially loved being with her children, grandchildren and their families.

The daughter of the late, Edward and Florence (Crawlin) Sears and the widow of Joseph B. Andrews, her family members include her son, Joseph R. and his wife, Tina Andrews and her daughter, Gayle and her husband, Bill Rousseau.  She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 nieces.  She was predeceased by her infant son, Michael and her sister, Eleanor Faggiano .

Calling hours will be on Sunday January 31, 2016 from 2 to 5 pm at The Charles F.
