Simone (Roy) Hudson, 95, of Lawrence passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday May 10, 2015 at Mary Immaculate Nursing Center, Lawrence. Mrs. Hudson was born, raised and educated in Lawrence and has lived in Lawrence all of her life. She worked at the former Pacific Mills, Lawrence and before retirement Simone (Roy) Hudson, 95, of Lawrence passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday May, she worked at Western Electric Company, N. Andover. Simone enjoyed traveling but especially loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her family members include her daughter, Catherine and her husband, James Niziak of Methuen and her sons, Thomas and his wife, Linda Hudson of Merrimac, MA. and James and his wife, Carol Hudson of Holiday, FL. She leaves her grandchildren, James and Melissa Niziak, Todd and Kimberly Niziak and Michael Hudson and her great Grandchildren, Kyleigh, Justin, Taylor, Brenna and Catherine Niziak and Jenna Dickerson and Ryan Maynard.  Simone also leaves her sister, Lillian Grzejka of Lawrence as well as several nieces and nephews and she was pre-deceased by her granddaughter, Lisa Hudson Maynard.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday May 13, 2015 from 9 to 10 AM at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, N.
