Noella A. Walker, 89, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully February 21, 2015, at the Berkeley Retirement Home. 

Born in Lowell, MA, on December 26, 1925 to the late Alfred and Rose (L’Abbe) Desrosiers, Noella was raised and educated in Lawrence and Methuen. A Methuen resident for much of her life, Noella worked for many years as a clerk in the former Kings Department Store, Methuen. 

Noella was predeceased by her husband, John W. Walker, and son, Russell J. Walker. She leaves behind daughters, Judith Junkins of North Carolina, and Sister Mary of Lourdes of Mexico City, Mexico, two sisters, one brother, and several nieces and nephews. 

Friends and loved ones are invited to call on Friday, February 27, 2015, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Berkeley Retirement Home, 150 Berkeley Street, Lawrence, MA 01841. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 11:00 AM in the Berkeley Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen. 

Memorial contributions, in Noella’s name, may be made to the Berkeley Retirement Home and Nursing Center, 150 Berkeley Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.
