John Paul Tessier, 65, passed away Tuesday, Sept 22, 2015 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

John was born and raised in Pelham, NH, son of the late George H and Irene (Mailhot) Tessier.  He leaves behind his wife, Shirley A (Faro) Tessier, his son, John Tessier Jr, his daughter, Deborah Tessier and her companion, Dr Michael Provenzano; brothers: George H Tessier Jr and his wife Judith, Raymond Tessier and his wife Kathleen, Dennis Tessier and his wife Sharon, sisters: Ann Black and her husband Richard, Doris Larochelle and her husband John, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard Tessier and Gerald Tessier.

John served as a paratrooper in the United States Army, and worked at Honeywell in Lawrence, MA for 20 years, Later, he was a truck driver and drove a big rig all over the country.  He had a passion for life and was a man of God.  Even during his illness, he never wavered in his faith. He could light up a room and make anyone who met him feel good. He was always more concerned about others than he was about himself. John would always make you feel like everything was going to be all right.  He was not one for ordinary everyday concerns like gossip, or what someone said or did. He thought most things that people worry about were nonsense. He was an incredible man and we will miss him.
