Edward Clarence Lamphier, born August 28, 1930 peacefully passed away on Monday Oct. 3, 2016.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

His family members include his wife of 62 years, Gloria (Ramey) Lamphier and his 3 daughters, Cindy Maloof wife of Michael Maloof , Judy Bolis wife of Peter Bolis and Jeanne A. Renken wife of John Renken.  He also leaves his grandchildren, Michael Maloof and his wife Kristen, Stephanie Maloof, David Maloof and Madison Renken and a great grandson, Conner Maloof as well as his sisters, Florence Dube wife of Gerald Dube, Nancy Netzer wife of Andy Netzer and his brothers, Richard Lamphier, John Lamphier, Butch Lamphier and several nieces and nephews.

His greatest pleasure in life was making others happy. He and his wife enjoyed ballroom dancing for as long as his children can remember. He enjoyed playing the guitar and entertaining people all the time. He always had a smile on his face and he proudly served in the United States Army National Guard for 23 years. He will be sadly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Friday October 7, 2016 from 10:30 am to 11:30am at St. Michael Church, 196 Main Street, N. Andover, MA 01845. A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 11:30am on Friday at  St Michael Church.  Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Methuen. Arrangements are by The Charles F.
