Donald J Pahigian son of the late, Krikor and Susan Pahigian, beloved husband of Margaret Ann (MacCannell) Pahigian for the past 54 years, passed away peacefully at his Salem NH residence with his family by his side at the age of 75 after a short battle with lung cancer.

He was born in 1940 and raised in the plains area of Lawrence. He graduated from Lawrence High School and became a glazier and proud member of the Local 1044 now DC 35 Union. He began his career at Lawrence Plate Glass Company and after more than 40 years, retired from Salem Glass Company. Following retirement, Don especially enjoyed the 12 years he spent working at the Boys and Girls Club of Salem, NH.

Donald enjoyed watching New England sports with his children, especially attending Patriot games with his daughter, Beth. He was an avid golfer and horse racing enthusiast; but more than anything Don enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his 5 grandchildren. Don will be remembered for his gentle smile and big heart.

In addition to his wife Peg, Don is survived by his sister, Dorothy Pahigian of Salem, NH, sons, Donald Pahigian of Worcester, MA, Bryan Pahigian and wife, Linda of Westbrook, ME, and children Bryan and wife Tia and Steven Pahigian, His daughter Beth and wife, Michelle of Newburyport, MA and children Callie, Zachary and Jacoby Harris, and several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his dear friend Tom Albers.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday August 28, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.  A Funeral Mass will be on Monday August 29 at 10:00 am in St. Augustine Church, Lawrence.  Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
