Carmelle B. (Brisson) Shorten, 85 of South Carolina, Formerly of Lake Wales, FL. and Andover, MA. passed away on Friday Sept 18th at her daughters home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Shorten was born in Manchester NH, she was the daughter of the late Marcel and Blanche Brisson. She enjoyed reading, playing golf, shopping and traveling with her husband.  She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 63 years Frederick Shorten, daughters Susan Waldie and her husband Robert, Sandra Mayhugh and her husband Lewis, and her son Frederick Shorten and his wife Kathleen. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister Charlotte Bailey and brothers Bernard Brisson and Daniel Brisson.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday Sept 23, 2015 from 4-7 PM at The Charles Dewhirst Andover Funeral home, 33 Pearson St. Andover.  A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday September 24 at 10AM in St. Augustine Church, Andover.
