William L. “Bill” Gallant, 61, of Chester, NH, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Mass. General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Bill attended Greater Lawrence Technical High School. Bill was the owner and operator of Auto Truck and Equipment Service for many years up until his retirement a couple of years ago. He was a “jack of all trades”. If it was broke, he could fix it. Bill took many risks throughout his life that made him the successful man he was. Bill was at times rough around the edges, but anyone who knew him well knew he had the biggest heart and was the most selfless man one could meet. He just had a way of bringing everyone together. Bill had a love of the ocean and enjoyed tuna fishing.
Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Trish and their three children, Brianna, Billy, and Brittany. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Mariah, Alyana, Lydia and Gianna. He was looking forward to his first grandson due to be here in February. Bill was the son of Leo and Dorothea. He had many siblings and was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his brother, Adam Gallant.
