Wayne S. Faust

Wayne Faust, 78, of Groveland sadly passed away on October 26, 2024, after a lengthy illness. At his bedside was his loving wife of twenty years, Alison Faust and his son Todd and his partner Jess. 

 Wayne was born in Lawrence on April 24, 1946, to Bertha and John Faust. He is preceded in death by his brothers Ronald and Dwight Faust. Wayne is survived by his sister Audrey and her husband James Rucker of South Carolina. Wayne is also survived by his daughters, Rhonda Gates and her husband John, of Haverhill, and Stacy and her husband Patrick Muhammad of Florida. He also leaves his sons Dana Faust of Haverhill, Gary Marmen and his partner Cambria Murphy of Merrimac, MA and Todd Dion, ll and his partner Jessica Psaros 0f Groveland. Wayne has 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Wayne was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War. As a member of the 9th Infantry Div.-19th Inf. Brigade, he served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1970. Wayne received the Vietnam Service Medal, for having served in or around the country during the war; the Vietnam Campaign Medal, given to those who served and were either wounded, captured or killed; and the Medal of Honor for service in Vietnam. Wayne was very proud of his service for our country. 

Wayne Faust was a good man, loved by many. He had two favorite things he loved to do. He loved polishing his truck. Every day he was out there making it shine. He had the shiniest truck on the block. However, his most favorite things to do, and here's a twist, was to shop. Wayne loved buying nice things. He also loved to look impeccably neat. There wasn't a wrinkle on his clothes or lint on his coat or hat. That gave him pleasure to dress that way, which caused him to walk like a man of means, which made all of us feel just as good. Thank you, Wayne. We are all better people having had you in our lives. You will be sadly missed. 

A memorial service will take place at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 410 Water St. Haverhill, Ma on Saturday November 30, 2024 at 12:30 pm. It can Also be viewed via Zoom.
