Warren E. Watts, 89, of Methuen, MA, passed away at home on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
The son of the late Thelma (Watts) Pilch, Warren was born in Union, ME on March 13, 1933. Warren attended and graduated from a high school in Union, ME. He was self-employed as a used car dealer for 70 years, until his retirement. He also was a thoroughbred horse trainer during the 1970s and 1980s. Warren was a hard-working and caring man. He was an energetic and outgoing individual and lived life to the fullest. Warren knew many people and had many friends from the automobile business and horse racing industry.
Warren was the husband and dear friend of 60 years to the late Rita R. Watts and is survived by his daughter, Maura Watts and her husband Patrick McKay, both of Methuen, MA. Warren is also survived by his granddaughter, Kasey McKay, of Methuen, MA.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dewhirst and Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. His Funeral Procession will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. Family and friends should arrive at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. for the procession.
