Walter H. Liles

Walter Herbert Liles, 94 of Dover, NH passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on May 21, 2021. 

Born and educated in Lawrence, Walter proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the US Nashville during WWII. He lived in Methuen for most of his life. Walter worked at Davis & Furber Machine Company in North Andover as well as Precision Engineering before retiring and traveling in an RV to New Port Richey, FL for many winters with his loving wife of 69 years Eileen Annie (Petell) Liles. They enjoyed many wonderful memories.  They also enjoyed camping at Barrington Shores Campground and had many amazing friends. 

Walter is survived by his wife Eileen Annie (Petell) Liles and his son Walter A Liles both of Dover NH, his sons  Gary T Liles and his wife Gale (Tessier) Liles of Salem NH, Larry Liles of Derry NH: as well as  his daughter Sharon (Petell) ONeil and her husband Joseph ONeil of Lawrence. He also leaves his grandchildren Amy Liles, Gary D Liles, Jocelyn O’Neil, Eric M Liles, Larry Liles, Amanda O’Neil, Joseph R. O’Neil and many great grandchildren.  Walter is preceded in death by his parents Walter J. Liles and Lena (Dietz) Liles, his brother Andrew Liles,sisters Shirley (Magno) Liles and Marily (Pendek) Liles. 

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Thursday June 10, 2021 at 11:30 am at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
