Terry Hanson – Methuen, MA

Terry Hanson, age 80 of Methuen, U.S. Navy Veteran, went to be with Jesus, his Savior on July 3, 2023.  Terry was born in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin the son of the late, Lawrence and Joy (Vance) Hanson.

He graduated from Mounds Park Grade School and Harding High School in St. Paul, Minnesota.  When he joined the Navy he was stationed in Quonset Point, Rhode Island and Antarctica.

Terry was married to Delores (Gall) in 1967 in St. Paul, Minnesota.  His work for Control Data Corporation brought them back East, where they found a home in Methuen in 1970.

In 1976 Terry put his faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and sought to live his life faithfully to him.  He was a faithful member of Marsh Corner Community Church and served in the Awana Club Children’s Ministry for many years.

He is missed very much by his friends and family.

Calling hours are Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 10 – 10:45 AM at the Marsh Corner Community Church, 317 Pelham Street, Methuen, MA 01844.  A funeral service will follow the calling hours at the church at 11:00 AM.  Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
