Stacia Bajgrowicz, 88, of Salem, NH passed away peacefully at Hillsborough Country Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH on February 18, 2021.
Stacia was born in Poland on April 13, 1932. She came to Greater Lawrence with her husband, Walter and 2 children in the 60’s to provide opportunities for them. She worked in the shoe factory, Essem then worked parttime cleaning the offices of Blue Seal Feeds. Stacia was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time taking care of her grandchildren and eventually her great grandchildren. She loved to cook, bake, clean and was the best seamtress around. She loved her family with all her heart and would do anything she could for them.
A devout Catholic, she attended the former Holy Trinity Church of Lawrence and currently attended Holy Rosary Church-Corpus Christi in Lawrence. She was a member of the Ladies Polish Rosary Group. She resided in Lawrence most of her life until moving to Salem, NH several years ago.
Stacia was predeceased by her husband, Walter Bajgrowicz and daughter, Maria Padykula. She is survived by her son, Adam Bajgrowicz and his wife Karen of Salem; her son in law, Stanley Padykula of Salem, NH; her grandson Mark Padykula and his wife Deborah of Londonderry, NH; her granddaughter, Kasia Trudel and her husband Jarod of Windham, NH; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Lexi, Andrew, Joshua and Jacob; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, locally and in Poland.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, February 23, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Dewhirst and Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. ***Please Note**** Due to a fire at Holy Rosary Church the Funeral Mass for Stacia has been changed to St. Theresa's Church, 22 Plymouth Street, Methuen. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence. Please observe current precautions. Masks and social distancing is required.
