Sheila E. McCartney, 88, of Chester, NH died on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center Manchester, NH.
Born and raised in Lowell, MA, Sheila was the daughter of Daniel J. and Esther C. (Ganley) Wrenn. Sheila married and moved to Lawrence MA where she and her husband John raised their 11 children. Sheila worked at the Warner Theatre then Treat Hardware for 25 years before retiring. Sheila was an avid reader, making weekly trips to the library to withdraw 3 to 4 books at a time. Sheila was a devoted Catholic, attending Holy Rosary Church (now Corpus Christi), and raised her children in the Catholic faith. Sheila also attended faith based teachings offered by her Church. Sheila most enjoyed vacationing with her children and grandchildren and was able to visit many places across the United States. Disney World was a favorite destination where even as a senior citizen, she still loved the thrill of a roller coaster!
