Shawn Jay Mitchell

Shawn Jay Mitchell, 52, formerly of Lawrence, of Arizona, passed away suddenly on December 2, 2022, while travelling in New Mexico. 

The son of Annette (Bisson) Mitchell Jones and the late Warren Mitchell, Shawn was born in Sanford, Maine on July 4, 1970.  Shawn was a graduate of the Greater Lawrence Technical High School in the Automotive Division.  He furthered his education in Automotive Technology and Heavy Equipment Technology at an automotive technical school in Boston.  He was employed in the automotive field, and in Arizona owned and operated his own business, Shawn Mitchell Master Mechanic.

Shawn is survived by his Mother, Annette (Bisson)  Jones of Lawrence;  a son, Patrick Mitchell of Londonderry, NH; a sister, Rhonda Burgess of Lawrence; a nephew, Corey Burgess of Lowell; his step-father, Arthur Jones of Lawrence; and two aunts, Jeanne Ivie and Judy Bisson.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the  Dewhirst and Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844  from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  A Funeral Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
