Rose Marie J. Stokes

Rose Marie Jenny Joanne Stokes, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026. She was born on September 1, 1942, and lived a life defined by love, devotion, and family.

For over 37 years, Rose shared her life with her partner, Luis Dominguez. Together, they built a home grounded in connection, tradition, and deep familial love.

Rose was a devoted mother to her children. Bill St. Louis, Robin Drazin, Nitza Holland, Carmen R. Dominguez, Marta Dominguez, Mildred Dominguez, Loida Dominguez, Emily Dominguez, and Vanessa Dominguez.

She was a proud grandmother to 21 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

Rose will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to family. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together and make everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her legacy lives on through the many generations she helped shape and the family bonds she so lovingly nurtured.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
