Robert A. Murad

Robert A. Murad, 83, of Atkinson, NH, formerly of Methuen, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at his home in Atkinson, NH.

Born in Lawrence on August 1, 1940, the son of the late Anthony and Grace Murad, Bob was educated in Methuen schools and was a graduate of Tenney High School in Methuen.  He was a police officer in Methuen for 23 years.  He was President of the Firefighters and Police Officers Retirees Association of Methuen.  He was very active in the community.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed his motor home and target shooting.

Bob is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Ann (Thibodeau) Murad of Atkinson, NH; his daughters, Karen Boucher and her husband Richard of WA and Daphne Blanchette of Atkinson, NH; sons, Michael Blanchette of Newton, NH and Joseph Blanchette of Naples, FL; a son-in-law, Kieran Kelly of Newton, NH; a nephew, Scott Ziminski and his wife Amy of Atkinson, NH; two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
