Richard Siney Obituary

Richard "Dickie" Siney, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Wednesday August 11th, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife Patty (Nubert), his son Mark Siney and his partner Maria Correia of Lowell, Massachusetts, his daughter Linda Campbell of Salem, New Hampshire; his grandchildren Erica Ghergorvich and Sondro Carvalho of Palm Bay Florida, his brother Philip Siney of Haverhill Massachusetts; his four sisters in law Angela Ventrillo, Ann Marie Baillageron, Joyce Nubert, and Barbara Nubert; niece Gina LaFlamme and her two daughters Ashley Ventrillo, and Alicia Ventrillo, and his nephew David Ventrillo, and his children David Ventrillo, Crystal Ventrillo, and Brittany Ventrillo. He is pre-deceased by his parents Leo and Irene (Marcelais) Siney, and his brothers Robert and Raymond Siney.

Richard was born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and graduated from the Haverhill Trade School in 1956. He attended Lowell Technical Institute and Northeastern University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He enjoyed a rewarding career of over thirty-five years at Western Electric as a Senior Product Engineer.

Richard loved exploring hidden gem restaurants, driving the coastline in New Hampshire and Maine, and visiting Florida. He enjoyed various hobbies from computers to radio and electronics, to piecing together large, complicated jigsaw puzzles. He was a man of many skills, and there was nothing he could not build, fix, or create. Richard was a kindhearted man who loved all of those around him, and enjoyed spending time with his family, and will be greatly missed.
