Richard T. Goulet - Methuen, MA
Richard T. Goulet "Dickie", 54, passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen surrounded by loved ones, including his 5 children. He was born in Lawrence on October 29, 1970, the son of Frank and Betty Goulet.
Dickie was educated in Lawrence and Methuen schools. He worked for decades alongside his family at Royal Powder Coating in Lawrence, and later at edesign in Winchester. Dickie was literally a jack of all trades. He was extremely talented and skilled at home improvements and fixing cars. He loved being at his property in Vermont. Some of his favorite hobbies include fishing, going to the casino, and playing the lottery. He worked for many years building a large coin collection that he cherished. Dickie spent 7 years in Vermont making memories on his property that he shared with his great friend Cindy Elderkin and many other friends he met while working at and attending pow wows.
Dickie was a devoted and loving father and grandfather who touched the hearts of so many. He is survived by his loving children, Ashley (Johnathan), Samantha (Victor), Zackary (Kiana), Hannah (Jacob), Kayla as well his step daughter Sky (Kevin), his 18 grandchildren Johnathan Jr., Cam, Jayden, Aaliah, Micheal, Isiah , Zaniyahlee, Frank, Sofia, Jackson, Greyson, X’zayvian, Maggie-Elizabeth, October, Giovanni, Aubriella, Penelope, and Coralie, his brothers Joseph (Donna), Thomas (Debby), Jorge (Wanda), and Michael, his sister Lisa, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family .He will also be missed by his great friend Caroline.
Dickie is predeceased by his father, Frank Goulet, his grandmother Theresa Ball and Mémère Goulet as well as well as many other relatives he loved and cherished.
Calling hours are Monday, September 8, 2025 from 4 - 6:30 PM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home at 6:30 PM.
