Rafael Sanchez

Rafael Sanchez, 66, of Lawrence, Mass. left his place on earth surrounded by his loving family, after a short battle with lung cancer. Rafael was a funny guy. He enjoyed listening to music, especially the beat of Salsa and loved to dance it as well. Rafael sang along to the song lyrics and loved to play the congas while at it. He read, watched documentaries on a variety of subjects such as the Bible, Religion, Geography, world cultures, etc. He was smart, a philosopher, but overall a good person, a beautiful human being with a huge heart of gold. Oh... he loved to eat seafood! Rafael was devoted to his mother Virginia and his daughter Shannon. He is predeceased by his sisters Sara, Elizabeth and Nereida, his stepfather Maximino and his great nephew Baby George and his niece Cynthia. He is survived by his mother Virginia, daughter Shannon, son Jose, brothers Pedro (Papo) & Max, sister Carmen M., nieces and nephews, Jose Luis "Bugzy", Wilson "Fish", Leslie, Xioliz, Stephanie, Ivie, Edwin, Marie, Jessica, Max, Jr, Jonathan, Ginny and Pedro, Daniel, Mikey, & great niece Janel, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Until we meet again!!!
