Priscilla A. (Flood) McKinnon, 88 of Stoneham, passed away on September 30, 2023 after a brief illness. Priscilla was a kind and gentle lady, a loving sister, wonderful Mom and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The daughter of Alice M. (Cassius) and J. Norman Flood, she was born in Lowell, MA and raised in Reading, MA. Priscilla married John S. Mckinnon, and moved to Woburn and raised a family she loved dearly.
Priscilla’s family members include her sister Alice and brother-in-law Lea Riley of Coral Gables, Florida, her son Craig and his wife Liz Doyle of Kirkland, WA, Rhoda and her husband Bob Cavanagh of Pelham, NH, Frank and his wife Anita Mckinnon of Tewksbury, and Brad Mckinnon of Saugus. She also leaves 4 cherished grandchildren, David Mckinnon, Andrew Cavanagh, and Kevin and Nicole Mckinnon, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Karl Mckinnon
Priscilla enjoyed her independence, close family, telling wonderful stories, and a visit from her favorite dog, Maggie. Daily visits from her Meals on Wheels friend, Jean, brightened each morning!
Being a very shy and private lady there will be no services at this time, and burial with be private at a later date.
A life well lived is a precious gift, of hope and strength and grace from someone who has made our world a brighter better place.
