Pedro Alanya Obituary

Pedro Humberto “Ñaño” Alanya Rios, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano, un tio muy querido y amigo de todos. 

Humberto falleció cristianamente el Jueves 13 de Octubre de 2022. El nació en Lima Perú el 29 de Julio del 1933. Sus padres fueron Agustin Alanya y Sofia Rios, tenia 5 hermanos.   

Humberto fue un buen hombre, un buen padre, un buen abuelo, un buen bisabuelo y un buen tío. Fue una persona muy bondadosa y amable. Disfrutaba mucho los detalles simples de la vida. Siempre le gusto mucho la playa, le encantaba caminar en la playa La Pampilla en Lima. A Humberto le gustaba cocinar ceviche para su hija y familiares. El sabia hacer zapatos a mano y le hizo pares de todos los colores a su hija. 

Humberto vivio sus ultimos años en Massachusetts con su hija y su familia mas cercana. Todos sus bisnietos tambien tuvieron la oportunidad de pasar tiempo con él y lo querian mucho, le llamaban “Papa Berto”.  

Humberto deja a su hija Susana Alanya, su hermano mayor Domingo, hermana menor Juana, nietos, bisnietos, sobrinos y sobrinas.   

“Te recordaremos con mucho amor y cariño, te extrañaremos inmensamente y por siempre viviras en nuestros corazones” 

El velatorio tendra lugar el dia Jueves 20 de Octubre de 4 p.m. a 7 p.m. La dirección es Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.

Pedro Humberto “Ñaño” Alanya Rios, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. 

Humberto passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13th, 2022. He was born in Lima, Perú on July 29th, 1933, to father Agustin Alanya and mother Sofia Rios, he had 5 other siblings.   

Humberto was generous, loving, kind and enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He spent a lot of time with his family. He loved the beach, his favorite thing was to take long walks along La Pampilla beach, back in our hometown. Humberto loved cooking for his daughter’s family most weekends, he was always welcome to make ceviche. He made shoes by hand; his daughter remembers having a pair of shoes in every color made by him.  

Humberto spent his last years in Massachusetts with his daughter and family. His great grandkids had the chance to enjoy his company and loved his playful charisma. They all called him “Papa Berto” 

He was survived by his daughter Susana Alanya, his older brother Domingo, younger sister Juana, grandkids, nieces and nephews. 

“We will remember you with love, we miss you immensely and you will always be in our hearts”
