Pauline C. Miller died peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2022 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Pauline was born in Lawrence, MA on October 22, 1938 to the late Hattie Bousquet and Leonel Gagne. Raised and educated in Lawrence, she was a graduate of Saint Ann’s High School, Class of 1956. and received her bookkeeping certification from Merrimack College. Pauline lived in Mansfield, MA for over twenty years and moved back to the Merrimack Valley in recent years. Pauline was employed in the legal industry for most of her career. She was a head bookkeeper at Deutsch Williams in Boston prior to her retirement. She maintained long friendships with many of the people she met on her daily train commute.
Pauline enjoyed travelling and spending time with family and friends. She was especially devoted to her family; her grandchildren Nick, Alex and Joseph Miller brought her great joy. Pauline was very close to her grandsons and reveled in their accomplishments.
She was the beloved wife of the late Wallace H. Miller and they spent many wonderful years enjoying the company of good friends and shared a passion for dancing.
She was the devoted mother of Eric and Dena Miller of Lawrence and Dean and Nadine Miller of Mansfield, dear sister of Huguette and Maurice Martin of Arizona, John and the late Anne Gagne of New Hampshire, the late Claude Gagne of Lawrence, Robert and Marie Gagne of New Jersey, the late Ronald Gagne and Jeannette Gagne and the late Gerard and Dot Gagne of Ohio.
Pauline will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and their families who loved her feisty spirit and generous nature.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday January 8, 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A service will follow the visitation at 4 pm at the funeral home.
