Paul Duhamel, a devoted father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, at the age of 76. Paul’s final year was spent in Minnesota, where he cherished the opportunity to live closely with his son and family.

Born on July 6, 1950, Paul was raised in Methuen, MA and remained a proud alumnus of Central Catholic High School. A hardworking entrepreneur, he was a fixture of the Lawrence, MA community for over two decades as the owner of Sentry Glass. Paul spent the vast majority of his life in Methuen and Lawrence, building lasting relationships through his business and his involvement in the local community.

In his retirement, Paul found his greatest joy in his family. He moved to Minnesota to be near his son, Matt, daughter-in-law, Jamie, and grandchildren Colin and Ryan.  He loved nothing more than watching them grow and cheering them on at their various sporting events. Paul was also an active member of his retirement community, The Waters, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of new friends and neighbors.

Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda. He is survived by his son, Matt, and daughter-in-law, Jamie; his two grandsons, Colin and Ryan; his sisters, Sr. Lucille Duhamel and Annette Turcotte; his sisters and brothers in law and his many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication to family and a lifetime of hard work.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours for Paul on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 4-7 PM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen MA 01844. Entombment will follow the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Methuen, MA.
