Paul Michael Carter, 66, of Methuen, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, after suffering a stroke.
The son of the late Eileen Genevieve (Brown) and George Leroy Carter, Paul was born in Lawrence on February 18, 1957. He attended Lawrence and was a graduate of Greater Lawrence Technical High School, Class of 1974, specializing in plumbing and piping. He enjoyed guitar playing, and was known for his profound sense of humor. He also was a Mayflower descendant. Paul was employed as a warehouse worker at Shaw’s Perishable Distribution Center in Methuen.
Paul is survived by two brothers, George Carter of Tyngsborough, MA and David Carter of Lawrence, MA; and a sister, Carol Carter of Hampstead, NH.
Funeral Services will take place at the Carter Family Lot in the Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, at a later date and will be announced.
