Noreen (Mendys) Ramalho

Noreen (Mendys) Ramalho, age 72 of Methuen, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2020. She is predeceased by her life partner, Beverly Ramalho who passed just prior on April 5th.

Noreen was born on March 3, 1948, daughter of the late Walter and Mary Mendys. She was raised in Methuen and graduated from Saint Mary’s High School, class of 1965. She continued her education by studying nursing at Merrimack College and later in life she continued her nursing education at Lawrence Regional Vocational Nursing School.

Throughout her life Noreen enjoyed the beach, camping, reading, painting, theater, and music. Noreen loved hosting holiday gatherings at her home with her boys, their children and extended families.

She is survived by her pride and joy, her 3 sons; David Gravlin and his wife Samantha of Lowell, Gregory Gravlin of Haverhill, and Douglas Gravlin and his wife Robin of Methuen; Her brother Richard Mendys and his wife Clair of Hudson, NH, her sister Carol Roy of Virginia, her beloved grandchildren; Samantha Gravlin, & David Gravlin both of Gardner, MA, Brandon Gravlin, & Katelynn Gravlin both of Lowell, MA, and several great grandchildren.

Noreen will be deeply missed by many. She was predeceased by her brother Walter "Sonny"
 Mendys.
 

Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home in Methuen.
