Nohemi Tirado Alicea, 63, of Methuen, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 28, 2025. Born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, Nohemi grew up surrounded by love, raised by her mother alongside her six sisters.
Nohemi later planted her roots in Massachusetts, where she became the heart of her family. She was a devoted mother to her four children and remained forever connected to her oldest son, who passed away in 2005. Nohemi’s love extended far beyond her own home—She was a second mother to many of her children’s friends, always opening her arms without hesitation.
She was known for her kindness, generosity, and her ability to help others without ever expecting anything in return. Nohemi was the person people turned to for advice, comfort, and encouragement. She had a gift for listening, understanding, and figuring out solutions even in the toughest moments. She always found a way to make things happen.
Above all, Nohemi was the best grandmother, deeply devoted to her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. Her family was her world, and she lived every day with them at the center of her heart.
Nohemi leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion—one that will continue to guide her family forever. We will cherish her memory always.
Services will be held on December 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 80 Broadway St., Methuen, MA.
