Nancy A. Gomes, 84, of Andover, MA, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on May 3, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill following a short illness. The last surviving child of Constance Gibbons (Pina) and Joaquim Gibbons both of Fairhaven, MA, Nancy was predeceased by her three sisters, Aileen Gibbons, Thelma Silvia and Ethel Pires as well as her three brothers, John, Edward and James Gibbons.
Prior to their divorce, Nancy and Frank Gomes (deceased) raised four sons; Frank Jr. of Andover, Ronald and wife Maria of Washington, DC, Paul of Lawrence, and Alfred (deceased) of Chicago. She also leaves behind several devoted nieces and nephews, two special sisters-in-law, Mary “Ment” Gomes of New Bedford and Angelina “Angie” Monteiro of West Dartmouth, MA and one grandson, Alexander Gomes of Washington, DC.
