Miguel Antonio Laporte O’neill – Methuen, MA

Miguel Antonio Laporte O'neill, 64, formally in Methuen, MA, passed away suddenly on Saturday February 10, 2024 at his home. 

Miguel was born on September 15,1959 to his father Miguel Laporte O’neill senior and his mother Raquel O'neill in Puerto Rico where he also served in the U.S. Army and honored his country. Miguel was very active in spending time with his family and creating lifelong memories. Miguel had a contagious laugh that instantly made anyone smile. Miguel had a passion for salsa music and had a various collection of cassette tapes from all artists. Miguel loved to randomly start dancing and making a joke to brighten up the mood of people around him.

Miguel is survived by his wife Zoraida Calixto of 33 years, his daughters Sarah Ruiz and Marta Calixto, his sons Efrain Calixto, Julio Martinez and Jorge Flores, His sister Raquel Laporte, 2 nephews and a great-niece, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. His loving and fun spirited memory will continue to live on through his family. 

Calling hours are Thursday February 15, 2024 from 6-8pm at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. U.S. Army Military Honors will be rendered at 6pm.
