In loving memory of our father Michael J. Quaglietta Jr., who passed away on September 28th, 2022.

Mike is survived by his wife Carol with whom he just celebrated their sixty second wedding anniversary on September 23rd.  Loving father of Lisa Christopher, Michele DeJesus and spouse Angel.  Proud grandfather of Jocelyn Christopher & her partner Domanick DiBiaso. Devoted great grandfather to Oliver Wayne and Autumn Rose DiBiaso. Brother to Ralph Quaglietta and his partner Sandi Bergeron. Uncle and God father to Shawn Quaglietta.  Mike was predeceased by his oldest son Michael J Quaglietta III & his parents Margaret & Michael Quaglietta Sr.  He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mike was educated in Lawrence.  After high school, he joined the Navy in 1960.  The same year he married Carol Drouin.  The two met at Salisbury beach, where both their families spent many summers vacationing.

After the Navy, he followed in his dad’s footsteps as a machinist for AVCO/Textron Industries in Wilmington, MA.  He retired in 1992 from Textron.

Mike loved horses, and horse racing.  He spent many days working with horses of friends at Rockingham Park.  Mike was known to place a bet or two…He achieved his lifelong dream of owning a horse in 1995 named “You missed the point”.

He spent his retirement years playing bingo & slot machines with his wife at Foxwoods Casino.

Mike enjoyed making puzzles and playing games on his tablet.  He also enjoyed vacationing in Florida, Las Vegas, Atlantic City and most recently Old Orchard Beach.

Mike passed away at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.  The family wishes to extend gratitude for the wonderful care by the staff of nurses and doctors.  May he rest peacefully in heaven besides his son Mike, mom Margaret, dad Mike Sr and Uncle Ruffy.
