MaryLou Pappalardo

MaryLou passed away on October 9,2024 at the age of 85 after several weeks of medical complications.

 MaryLou will be deeply missed by her devoted husband of 65 years, Donald F. Pappalardo,Sr. and her children David S. Pappalardo of Methuen and Robyn A. Harb and her husband Richard J.Harb of Middleton, MA. In addition to her children, she was the beloved grandmother to Olivia M. Pappalardo and Derek J. Pappalardo. MaryLou was the daughter of James and Esther (Harlow) Dalton and sister to James Dalton,Jr., George Dalton, William Dalton, Winifred Tombarello and Ross and Eileen Galeazzi. She was predeceased by her son Donald F. Pappalardo, Jr

Marylou was a graduate of Lawrence High School and was a long-time resident of Methuen, MA. She was the owner of Hair Styles by MaryLou on Ferry St., Lawrence, MA and then hairdresser at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home of Lawrence for over 30 years. MaryLou was truly genuine, with the largest and most forgiving heart imaginable. She never hesitated to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Everyone who knew MaryLou knew she was the biggest social butterfly and became best friends with everyone she met. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She has left a tremendous hole in so many lives. She was more loved than she could ever know and will never be forgotten. We simply cannot bring ourselves to say good-bye; just “until we meet again.” Our lives will never be the same without her.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday October 18, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
