Marilyn D. Phelps

Marilyn D. Phelps, 83 of Methuen passed away on Monday October 7, 2024 at her home.

Marilyn was born with Autism which affected her verbal communication and lived her life with her disability. Marilyn lived a happy life with her parents and family and she especially loved the years she spent living with her extended family at Fidelity House and had numerous wonderful years there. She enjoyed swimming, dancing and especially loved art and spending time with her friends.

Marilyn was the daughter of Houston S. and Barbara D. (Bonelli) Phelps. Her family members include her brother The Rev. John E. Phelps and his wife Janet Phelps, her nephews John E. Phelps, Jeffrey Phelps and his wife Donna and James H. Phelps. She also leaves her niece Jennifer Morin and her husband Chris as well as many friends.

Family and friends are invited to an hour of visitation on Wednesday October 16, 2024 from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home 80 Broadway, Methuen.
