Manuel Casado

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Manuel Casado, known to most as Pat, who left this world on June 29, 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Born on October 15, 1944, in the vibrant Dominican Republic, he was the cherished son of Rodolfo Casado and Ramona Cruz Casado. He was raised in a bustling home surrounded by his many brothers and two sisters, forming the foundation of a close-knit family that would shape his values for life.

In search of new opportunities, Manuel first ventured to Puerto Rico, where he began to carve out his path. His journey led him to New York City, where he lived with his brother Adolfo, before ultimately settling in Lawrence, Massachusetts, in the 1970s. It was in this bustling community that he met the love of his life, Belkis “Anna” Fernandez Casado, in 1976. Their union was a testament to love and devotion, as they built a life together.

For many years, Manuel dedicated himself to his work at Honeywell, where he was known for his charm and charismatic character. He later transitioned to Wire Belt in Londonderry, from which he retired.

He was a proud father to his sons, Robert Casado and his wife Phalla of New Hampshire, Henry Casado of Methuen, MA, and Allen Casado and his wife Jazmine of Georgia. His grandchildren are Dyasia, Dannisa, Allen ll Casado., Liam, and Penelope Casado.

Manuel was a very charming, charismatic jokester loved by his neighbors and community. He enjoyed playing dominoes, looking forward to spending the holidays and celebrating milestones with his family and grandchildren. He had a deep love for political history and Balada Romántica. His sweet and charming demeanor was often accompanied by his signature thumbs-up and side wink, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Manuel is survived by his devoted wife, Belkis “Anna” Casado, as well as his brothers and sisters: Aurelio "Rafael" Casado, Pedro "Mingo" Casado, Cristina "Ada" Casado, Tomas Casado, and Juan "Angel" Casado. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jose Ramon Casado, Adolfo Casado, Antonio "Santo" Casado, and Juan  Casado, as well as his sister Amparo "Negra"  Casado. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom will carry fond memories of him in their hearts.

As we remember Manuel, we celebrate his unwavering love for his family and the kindness he shared with everyone he met. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday July 7, 2026 from 10 am to Noon at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home 80 Broadway, Methuen. Funeral services will follow the calling hours at Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at St Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum.
