Louise Fraas Obituary

Louise Marilyn Fraas, 82, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Oxford Rehab and Health Care Center in Haverhill.  

The daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth C. (Christian) Fraas, Louise was born in Lawrence on June 2, 1939, and was raised on Prospect Hill in Lawrence.  She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1956, and also attended the McIntosh School of Business in Lawrence.  Louise was employed as a Nanny all her life for local families.  Louise loved to be with children and also attended the Methuen Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing cards, especially 45’s.

  Louise is survived by two sisters; Phyllis Moore of Virginia Beach, VA and Carleen Boucher and her husband Armand Boucher of Methuen ; nieces and nephews, Andrea Eller and her husband Mark, Jeff Boucher and his wife Rebecca, Alison Wright and her husband Alan, Kevin Boucher and his wife Sue, and Lindsay Boucher; great nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Boucher and his wife Alyaih, Tyler Dopson, Nathan Boucher, Austin Wright, and Kaleigh Dopson; great, great nephews, Noah, Chase and Blake Boucher.

  Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dewhirst and Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.  Burial will be private in the Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.  For directions and online condolences, please visit www.info@dewhirstfuneral.com
