Lorraine A. Folley

Lorraine A. Folley, 88 of Methuen passed away on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at Lawrence General Hospital. Mrs. Folley was born in Lawrence on September 23, 1934 and was a lifelong Methuen resident and was a graduate of Edward F. Searles High School class of 1953. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Armand and Albertine Beliveau and her grandson Nathan Folley. Lorraine is survived by her best friend and love of her life, her husband Herbert K. Folley and her three sons David and his wife Nancy, Michael and his wife Millie and Steven. Lorraine was the much-loved grandmother of Ross Corbett and his wife Megan, Ryan Dignard and his wife Katie, Charlie Folley and his wife Morgan, Shannon Folley, Erin Folley, Jakob Folley, Jackson Folley and Russell Folley. She also leaves her great grandchildren Jayden, Calianna, Brayden, Chase, Raegan and Jaxton. She was also the dear sister of Armand Beliveau and his wife Denise.

Lorraine attended St. Theresa Church, Methuen and was also a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Methuen. She was a homemaker and as her sons grew older, she worked and retired from the Methuen Senior Activity Center. Lorraine lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and worker. She loved to make crafts and was highly skilled at knitting and crocheting.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday March 29, 2023 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday March 30 at 10:00 am in St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street, Methuen. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
