Loretta Marie-Rose Pawlick – Haverhill, MA

Loretta Marie-Rose (St. Hilaire) Pawlick age 89 of Haverhill passed away peacefully at her home in Haverhill on Monday February 8, 2021.  She was born in Lawrence, MA on October 25, 1931 the daughter of the late Simeon and Leontine (Gaudet) St. Hilaire of Sherbrook, Canada.  She attended Lawrence schools.  In her younger years, Loretta enjoyed going to the movie theaters at Theater Row on Broadway in Lawrence.  She spent summer vacations with her girlfriends renting a cottage at Salisbury Beach.  Loretta loved to go dancing with her husband Eddie at the social clubs.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing for her family.  Each summer she planted a flower garden and appreciated its simple beauty.  Loretta loved to host holiday open-house parties for friends and family.  Many summer weekends were spent at the "camp" with her siblings and their families.  On Sunday afternoons she liked going out for lunch with her daughter.  She was a kind person who most of all loved her large extended family.

She is predeceased by her husband, Edward S. Pawlick in 1983 and her sons; Michael E. Pawlick and Edward M. “Eddie” Pawlick.  She is also predeceased by her brothers: Paul St. Hilaire, Raymond St. Hilaire, Marcel St. Hilaire and Robert St. Hilaire, sisters: Pauline Mendonsa, Theresa St. Hilaire, Florence Ratcliffe and Helen Low.  She is survived by her daughter, Janice A. Pawlick of Amesbury, her brother, Richard St. Hilaire of Methuen, her sister, Jeannette Cline of Florida and her daughter-in-law, Jill Pawlick of Plano, TX.  She is also survived by her grandson, Michael A. Pawlick and his fiancé, Martha Esquivel of Plano, TX and her great-grandson Michael S. Pawlick, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Sunday February 14, 2021 from 3-6 PM at Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.  A Funeral Service will take place on Monday February 15, 2021 at 11 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the Funeral Service in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in North Andover, MA.  Family & Friends are reminded that Covid-19 guidelines requiring face coverings and social distancing must be followed.  Please visit www.dewhirstbolesfuneral.com for directions or to sign the online guest book.
