Lois M. (Clarkson) Eddy, 91, of Lawrence passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Nevins Nursing and Rehab Center in Methuen.
The daughter of the late Arnold and Liliana (Mazzie) Clarkson, Lois was born in Winchester, MA on September 12, 1930. She was educated in Reading, MA schools, and was a graduate of Reading High School. Lois received her Licensed Practical Nurses (L.P.N.) certification from the Danvers State Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed for various doctor’s offices in the Greater Lawrence area until her retirement. Lois resided most of her life in the Greater Lawrence area. While residing in Lawrence, she was employed as a school crossing guard at Lowell and Ames Streets for many years. Lois enjoyed playing cards and all family events with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed working with her computer and enjoyed travelling with her late husband.
The wife of the late Jack Eddy, Lois is survived by her three sons, Lee W. Eddy and his wife Nancy Spelbrink of Swampscott, MA, Leonard C. Eddy and his wife Cynthia of Lawrence, and David A. Eddy and his late wife, Linda J. of Goffstown, New Hampshire; a daughter, Cynthia; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Lois’ Family sincerely thanks the entire staff of the Nevins Nursing and Rehab Center for the loving and exceptional care given to Lois during her stay at the Nevins.
